How You Can Help
When adults rethink challenging kids, amazing things can happen…
Changing conventional wisdom requires grassroots efforts. Please help us spread the word that there is another way to think about and help challenging kids! There are many ways you can help.
Help us by participating in the Rodman Ride for Kids
The Rodman Ride for Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity that raises funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride’s mission is to have every child in our community live as we would want our own children to live. On September 25th, 2016 more than 1,500 cyclists will participate in a 25, 50, or 100-mile non-competitive cycling tour to raise money for their respective agencies. 110% of your donation goes directly to Think:Kids. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how you can help as a sponsor, rider, or volunteer.
Become a Certified Mentor
Share what you’ve learned or what has worked for your family with other parents who are struggling with their children’s behavior. The Certified Mentor track is specifically geared for people who wish to start a support group in their area for parents of behaviorally challenging kids. The Mentor Track is designed for a support group leadership role only, and is focused on giving the group leader the skills to lead a support group based around our approach. Visit our Certification page for more information.
There are plenty of other ways to help — refer people to the Think:Kids website, use social media to introduce our ideas to your friends and colleagues, volunteer with us, or make a tax-free donation to Think:Kids by clicking the link below.
Many companies also have matching gift programs. To find out if your company does, please contact your human resources or benefits office as this is a wonderful way to enhance the impact of your gift.
